The latest generation eliminates the need for specialized software or apps, offering greater cost-efficiency and adaptability without hardware modifications.
Key Features of the Upgraded IXARC Encoders
The enhanced encoders provide extensive customization through software adjustments, allowing users to modify performance characteristics without altering physical components. Highlights include:
Dual-functionality: Supports both incremental and absolute encoder modes on a single hardware platform.
Versatile mechanical options: Thousands of configurations, including 36mm, 42mm, and 58mm flanges, and multiple shaft types (clamp, blind hollow, square, synchro flange).
Compact design: Some models measure just 36mm in length.
WiFi-enabled configuration: Features the UBIFAST tool, a plug-and-play module with an integrated hotspot for wireless setup via smartphones, tablets, or laptops.

The UBIFAST configuration tool simplifies setup by connecting to encoders via accessory cables. Its built-in WiFi hotspot and web server allow instant access to a browser-based interface for adjustments. Users can also register changes automatically via email through POSITAL’s online configuration management system.
