York Fluid Controls Ltd. supplies the Gorman-Rupp 10 Series of solids handling pumps, designed for demanding applications involving slurries, corrosive liquids, and solids. These pumps are built for longevity and efficiency, featuring a range of metallurgical options and seal configurations to suit various industrial needs.
Available in six sizes from 40 to 300 mm, the pumps are constructed from materials such as bronze, cast iron, CD4MCu, and stainless steel. They can handle flows up to 423 litres per second, with a maximum head of 40 metres and the ability to process solids up to 76 mm in diameter. The pumps operate efficiently in temperatures up to 100°C.
A key feature is the two-vane, semi-open impeller, which minimizes clogging and reduces wear on seals and bearings. The removable cover plate allows for quick access to internal components without requiring pipe disassembly, simplifying maintenance. Multiple seal options are available, including double mechanical grease-lubricated seals and self-aligning oil-lubricated seals, along with fluorocarbon or PTFE elastomers for enhanced chemical resistance.
York Fluid Controls, established in 1960, provides a comprehensive range of fluid-handling solutions, including pumps, valves, and filtration systems. The company supports its products with engineering expertise, custom fabrication, and repair services, serving industries across Canada with a commitment to reliability and customer-focused solutions.
