For 30 years, Matritech Inc. has been a trusted name in Canadian machining, combining technical expertise with relentless innovation. As technology and industry demands evolve, the company continues to invest in cutting-edge equipment and workforce development to maintain its competitive edge.
A Legacy of Adaptability
Founded in 1989, Matritech has steadily expanded its capabilities, offering services such as laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, tool and die production, stamping, pressing, and bending. Rather than resting on its reputation, the company prioritizes continuous improvement—upgrading machinery, expanding facilities, and refining processes to meet client needs efficiently.
State-of-the-Art Equipment
Recent investments include a high-speed horizontal machining center with dual pallet changers, acquired in 2015, and a Mazak Vertical Travelling Column 300C, purchased five years ago. The 300C features a 40 Taper spindle, rapid traverse rates, and a long fixed table for handling heavy or oversized workpieces.
Matritech’s Drummondville facility also houses two CNC bending presses with optical angle sensors, three welding robots, and advanced laser systems—ensuring precision across all operations.
Expanding to Serve Better
From its original 3,200-square-foot plant, Matritech has grown to an 85,000-square-foot facility following a 2011 expansion. The larger space accommodates comprehensive machining, design, and assembly services, streamlining production and logistics for clients.
A One-Stop Machining Solution
By integrating diverse services under one roof, Matritech simplifies project management for customers, reducing procurement and transportation complexities. This approach, paired with sustained investment in technology, keeps the company at the forefront of the industry—delivering quality and efficiency nationwide.
As Matritech looks ahead, its commitment to innovation ensures it remains a leader in Canadian machining, ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
