Kubota introduces its versatile Crossover LX Series, bridging the gap between compact and utility tractors. Featuring three models (24.9-30.8 HP) with optional cabs, these agile yet powerful machines handle everything from mowing to heavy loader work. The series debuts innovative Goodyear R14 hybrid tires and Kubota’s efficient diesel engines for year-round performance.
New Line Bridges Gap Between B Series and L Series Models
Kubota has unveiled its innovative Crossover LX Series, a new line of compact tractors designed to meet the needs of large estate owners and commercial operators. The series introduces three distinct models that combine the maneuverability of smaller tractors with the power typically found in larger equipment.
Key Features of the LX Series
The Crossover LX Series consists of three models: the LX2610SU, LX2610, and LX3310. These tractors are powered by Kubota diesel engines ranging from 24.9 to 30.8 horsepower, with the LX3310 featuring the company’s advanced Common Rail System for improved fuel efficiency and cold-weather performance.
Operators can choose between ROPS open station or factory cab configurations, all built on a compact chassis capable of handling both precision mowing and heavy-duty loader work. The series supports 60-inch and 72-inch mid-mount mowers while maintaining an impressive front loader capacity exceeding 1,000 pounds.
Versatile Performance for Year-Round Operation
Power and Precision Combined
“The LX Series represents the best of both worlds,” explains Kelcey Cockrell, Kubota Product Manager. “These tractors maintain the size and agility needed for lawn and garden work while delivering the power required for demanding loader applications.”
The tractors come equipped with a standard 3-point hitch, enabling use with various implements including rotary cutters, box blades, tillers, and post-hole diggers. The inclusion of Goodyear R14 hybrid tires further enhances versatility, providing reliable traction across diverse conditions from snow and ice to turf and mud.
Availability and Deployment
Kubota first showcased the LX Series at February’s National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The company anticipates widespread availability at dealerships nationwide this month. Interested buyers can locate their nearest authorized dealer or access additional specifications through Kubota’s official website.
This strategic expansion of Kubota’s compact tractor lineup demonstrates the company’s commitment to meeting evolving customer needs in the agricultural and landscaping sectors. The Crossover LX Series promises to deliver professional-grade performance in a package suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
