Canadian industrial equipment distributor Dobco Equipment Ltd. now offers Trumpf’s innovative TruTool TF 350 power fastener, providing manufacturers with an efficient alternative to traditional joining methods. The tool creates durable, form-fitting connections between metal components without requiring screws, rivets or additional fasteners, making it particularly valuable for ventilation systems, air-conditioning technology and container engineering applications.
Until July 31, customers purchasing either the standard TruTool TF 350 or its 18-volt LiHD version will receive complimentary tooling kits including two sets of punches and dies.
The power fastener simplifies metal joining operations while reducing material costs. It produces consistent, corrosion-resistant joints through cold forming technology that works equally well on coated and uncoated materials. Capable of handling material thicknesses from 0.8 to 4 millimeters, the tool can create up to 120 high-quality joints per minute with a maximum locking force of 25 kilonewtons.
Engineered for precision and reliability, the TruTool TF 350 features low vibration operation and requires no emissions-producing processes. The standard 1,700-watt model offers an edge distance range of 0.315 to 2.283 inches and weighs 18.3 pounds without its power cable. The cordless 18-volt LiHD version provides equivalent performance in a slightly more compact 17.6-pound package including battery, with an extended edge distance capability starting at 0.135 inches. Both models share identical maximum performance specifications, including a flange height capacity of 1.417 inches and an operating speed of two strokes per second.
The current promotion enhances the value proposition of Trumpf’s joining technology for Canadian manufacturers seeking to improve efficiency in their metal fabrication processes. Industry professionals can contact Dobco Equipment Ltd. for detailed product specifications and purchasing information.
