Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 Max, a vacuum-mop hybrid designed to clean hard floors deeply and gently in a single pass.
This new appliance combines wet cleaning with powerful vacuuming to quickly remove dirt and water without leaving floors overly wet. It is especially useful for homes with large hard floor areas, allowing users to walk on freshly cleaned surfaces immediately while preventing water damage.
Unlike traditional cleaning methods, the vacuum-mop combo eliminates the need for a separate vacuuming step, saving time and effort. Xiaomi’s new model was recently launched in China with a price of around $420, though international availability and pricing are still unknown.
The Floor Scrubber 4 Max boasts a strong suction power of 23,000 Pa and a mop pad spinning at up to 450 rpm. It includes an extra cleaning arm designed specifically to tackle edges along walls and skirting boards.
Powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, the device can run up to 50 minutes on a single charge, covering an area as large as 400 square meters (around 4,300 square feet). It offers cleaning modes tailored for delicate wood floors and kitchen spaces, and is designed to resist hair tangling.
The scrubber holds 1,000 ml of fresh water and 700 ml for dirty water. It features an LCD screen displaying key information and can be controlled via the Xiaomi Home app for convenience.
A notable addition is the base station, which cleans and sterilizes the mop head by applying boiling water and drying it with hot air at 90°C (194°F). The handle and stick fold flat, allowing easy cleaning under furniture.
