Ecovacs has launched its newest premium robot vacuum and mop, the Deebot X9 Pro Omni, shortly after introducing the X8 Pro Omni earlier this year.
This quick follow-up highlights Ecovacs’ commitment to rapid innovation in robotic floorcare, competing closely with brands like Roborock, Dreame, and Eufy.
At the heart of the X9 Pro Omni is the Ozmo Roller Mop system, first seen in the X8 Pro. This system tackles common mop hygiene issues by applying 16 times more pressure than typical mop pads and continuously self-washing during use.
The robot features separate clean and dirty water tanks built inside, allowing the mop to be refreshed in real time while keeping dirty water isolated.
The X9 Pro Omni also introduces new capabilities, including a redesigned brush system that automatically lifts the main and side brushes when detecting wet messes. This helps prevent cross-contamination and streaking during cleaning.
Additional features include mop-lifting for carpets to avoid dampness and a base station that uses hot air at 145°F to dry the mop roller and reduce bacterial growth.
With these upgrades, the Deebot X9 Pro Omni aims to set a new standard for smart, hygienic floor cleaning.
