Following Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s thrilling victory at the Daytona 500, attention has turned to the meticulous upkeep of the Daytona International Speedway’s turf. To maintain pristine conditions, the Speedway relies on RC Mowers’ advanced robotic fleet for efficient and safe turfgrass maintenance.
The same technology is also employed at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, where RC Mowers’ machines handle the challenging slopes of these iconic tracks. Daytona uses the TK-52XP for its outer banks, while Homestead-Miami operates the TK-44E. Talladega has depended on the TK-60XP since 2021.
Showcasing Innovation at Daytona Speedweeks
During Daytona Speedweeks, RC Mowers demonstrated its remote-operated and autonomous mowers at high-profile events, including the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. 300 on February 18 and the Daytona 500 on February 19. The company shared the spotlight with major sponsors like Toyota, DoorDash, Ally Bank, and Sunoco.

Later in October, the company will exhibit at the Contender Boats 300 and the NASCAR Cup Series 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
