After attaching bleed valves and linking air lines to the start and retract ports, operators perform a dry run at zero feed rate, gradually increasing speed before testing with the actual workpiece.
These drills serve a wide range of industries, including aerospace for rivet and wing-frame mounting holes, appliances for panel and frame holes, and furniture manufacturing for dowel holes in chair seats and frames.
