Cleco Tools has expanded its product offerings in Canada with the launch of a new torque analyzer, now available through distributor Dobco Equipment Ltd. Designed specifically for verifying torque settings on Cleco CellClutch nut runners, the tool provides fast, accurate measurements and comes in four distinct models to accommodate various torque requirements.
The analyzer sets itself apart from competitors through its combination of speed, flexibility, and versatility. Its built-in torque transducer delivers precise readings displayed on a clear white OLED screen. Unlike conventional models, the device can operate using either a power cord or battery, enhancing its adaptability in different work environments. Additionally, it includes a rundown adapter that simulates real-world tightening conditions, making it compatible with all Cleco tightening solutions.
User-friendly features include a rundown adapter socket, LED indicators, soft function keys, an “Accept” key for confirming settings, directional arrow keys, and a simple power button. When activated, the analyzer displays a startup screen followed by key details such as the device’s serial number, calibration due date, and software version (marked as TM and KB).
The tool automatically defaults to the last-used measurement mode—Peak, Click, Track, or Pulse—but users can easily switch modes by pressing the Measurement Mode key. Once configured, the analyzer is ready for immediate use.
Dobco Equipment currently offers four models: the CTA0414 (0.4 to 4 Nm), the CTA3038 (3 to 30 Nm), the CST6838 (68 Nm, stationary), and the CJK38. With its precision, ease of operation, and adaptability, the Cleco torque analyzer is positioned as a valuable solution for professionals requiring reliable torque verification in assembly applications.
