Epiroc has launched its new DTH 5 hammers, engineered to improve drilling efficiency, durability, and sustainability. The company says the hammers offer high penetration rates and long service life, delivering better performance and greater cost-effectiveness on-site.
Designed for both high- and low-impact energy applications, the DTH 5 hammers are built to handle a wide range of rock formations and drilling configurations.
They are compatible with all major compressor and rig brands, offering flexibility across operations.
The new hammers support greater productivity, allowing operators to drill more per shift with fewer interruptions. They can also be rebuilt up to three times using Epiroc’s E-Kits, helping to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
Additionally, the DTH 5 hammers contribute to lower CO₂ emissions by minimizing manufacturing and transport demands—an important step toward meeting environmental and sustainability targets.
