Ferris has unveiled its most powerful zero-turn mower to date—the IS 6200—marking its return to the high-horsepower diesel market. Designed for municipal, industrial, and rural applications, the mower is equipped with a Cat® 48 gross hp turbo diesel engine and a standard 72-inch cutting deck, enabling it to handle dense, wet grass with ease.
Key features include an interactive 3-inch color display, foot-activated hydraulic deck lift, and dual-commercial Hydro-Gear® pumps. The mower also comes standard with Ferris’ next-generation ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure), suspension seat, and patented suspension system, ensuring operator comfort and durability in demanding conditions.
FW45 Walk-Behind Mower Upgrades for Enhanced Efficiency
Alongside the IS 6200, Ferris introduced the FW45 walk-behind mower, an upgrade to the popular FW35 model. Designed for tight spaces without sacrificing power, the FW45 features larger Hydro-Gear® ZT-3400™ transaxles with standard oil coolers, improving performance in commercial applications.
Maintenance has been simplified with easier transmission and spindle servicing, while enhanced component protection increases longevity. The mower is also compatible with one-wheel or two-wheel sulky attachments, boosting productivity for professional landscapers.
Built for Commercial Demands
Ferris continues to prioritize durability, operator comfort, and cutting precision, backed by industry-leading customer support. The IS 6200 and FW45 reflect the company’s commitment to innovation, meeting the evolving needs of commercial landscapers in 2025. Both models are now available for purchase through authorized Ferris dealers.
