Festo, a global leader in automation and pneumatic technology, has launched a translucent version of its PUN-H tubing, offering industrial clients improved visibility into system conditions. The new design allows operators to easily detect particle buildup, moisture, or oil residues inside the tubing—common causes of equipment malfunctions—enabling proactive maintenance and reducing downtime.
The PUN-H tubing line, made from FDA-listed, food-grade polyurethane, is designed for compressed air, vacuum systems, and water-based applications. Its compatibility with QS push-in fittings ensures secure, leak-resistant connections, even in humid environments. The tubing’s durability makes it suitable for demanding conditions, with resistance to kinking, hydrolysis, microbes, and UV exposure. It can withstand temperatures up to 50°C and is compatible with energy chains, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Festo highlights the tubing’s cost-effectiveness and ease of installation, positioning it as a practical solution for industries such as food processing, where contamination prevention and operational reliability are critical. The company’s latest innovation underscores its commitment to delivering high-performance, safety-focused products for industrial automation.
