The system empowers customers to design personalized products through an online interface, providing real-time pricing, delivery estimates, and full supply chain visibility. Operation begins when a customer-generated QR code is scanned by SBSI sensors. Final product personalization, such as USB stick engraving, is executed with millimeter precision using EPCO cylinders and ERMO rotary drives.
Festo ensures complete data integration across the production chain using industry-standard communication protocols including EtherCAT, OPC-UA, IO Link and MQTT.
