FLEX GmbH, a global power tool manufacturer based in Germany, has introduced its new DW 37 12-EC drywall screwdriver. This 12V tool combines powerful performance with ease of use and precision. Weighing under 1 kg, including the 2.5 Ah battery, the DW 37 12-EC is designed for long, fatigue-free use.
The screwdriver incorporates advanced features, such as an auto-start function. This feature automatically starts the motor when pressure is applied, helping to save energy. The DW 37 12-EC also has a pulse mode, allowing users to countersink protruding screws accurately and safely without damaging the material.
A key feature is the ‘In-Your-Control’ throttle switch, which lets users adjust the screwdriver’s speed for precise and safe operation. An integrated LED light offers optimal visibility, and it even stays on for a few seconds after the trigger is released, thanks to its afterglow function.
For continuous use, the DW 37 12-EC has a lockable button, which, together with the auto-start function, provides convenient, uninterrupted operation. The tool is also compatible with FLEX’s 18V screw magazine, reducing the need to reposition screws. Using the screw magazine enables two-handed operation, helping to prevent misaligned screws and ensuring correct fastening.
