Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is broadening its Wayne PWR DC fast charger lineup with four new configurations ranging from 160 kW to 640 kW. This expansion aims to offer more flexibility for site hosts and unlock new opportunities for deployment in diverse retail fueling and charging environments.
Originally launched in 2024, the Wayne PWR charger was best suited for new retail locations with planned high-capacity electrical upgrades. The new configurations now provide scalable solutions that support:
- Existing forecourts
- Retrofit projects
- Various electrical infrastructures
This makes it easier for operators to electrify both new and established retail fueling stations regardless of their current infrastructure.
Chad Bass, DFS Director of Product Management for EV Charging, emphasized the goal to remove barriers for site operators by offering solutions that fit different sites, budgets, and long-term electrification plans.
