Cleco Tools has introduced a new torque analyzer designed specifically for its CellClutch nut runners, offering manufacturers a fast and accurate way to verify torque settings. Distributed in Canada by Dobco Equipment Ltd., the tool combines advanced functionality with user-friendly operation, reinforcing Cleco’s reputation for high-performance assembly solutions.
The analyzer features a built-in torque transducer that provides instant readouts on a bright white OLED display. Unlike competing models, it offers dual power options—operable via both a power cord and a battery—enhancing flexibility in industrial environments. A key advantage is its included rundown adapter, which simulates real-world tightening conditions and ensures compatibility with all Cleco tightening tools.
Four models are available to suit varying torque requirements: the CTA0414 (0.4–4 Nm), the CTA3038 (3–30 Nm), the stationary CST 6838 (68 Nm), and the CJK38. The device automatically recalls the last-used measurement mode—Peak, Click, Track, or Pulse—while allowing manual adjustments via dedicated function keys.
Additional features include LED indicators, soft-touch controls, and an intuitive startup sequence that displays calibration data and software versions. The analyzer’s design prioritizes ease of use without sacrificing precision, making it ideal for industries where torque accuracy is critical, such as automotive and aerospace manufacturing.
By integrating speed, adaptability, and cross-platform functionality, Cleco’s latest innovation aims to streamline quality control processes while maintaining the brand’s standards for reliability.
