Key Features of the Polar Vac
The Polar Vac pairs with a dedicated app, allowing users to monitor data on smartphones or tablets. Its high-accuracy Pirani sensor ensures reliable readings, while the dual-valve system facilitates vacuum measurement and refrigerant evacuation. Built-in cores simplify refrigerant charging, and its ergonomic, lightweight design ensures compatibility with various systems. The probe has a measuring range of 5 to 25,000 microns.
The accompanying Polar App features an intuitive interface with real-time data visualization in tables and graphs. Users can generate detailed reports—complete with optional images—and export them in PDF, CSV, or XML formats. Additional functionalities include data logging, chronometer tracking, and real-time superheat/subcooling calculations, supporting 125 refrigerant gases.
Portability and Efficiency
Weighing just 136 grams and measuring 161 x 74 x 34 mm, the Polar Vac is highly portable. It operates on three AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries, delivering up to 250 hours of continuous use (based on one measurement every three seconds at 20°C). Its Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity provides a wireless range of up to 30 metres, depending on the paired device’s signal strength.
