Milwaukee is making significant upgrades to its impact wrench lineup, introducing six new models that promise to revolutionize fastening applications. Building on the success of their 2017 M18 FUEL Impact Wrench lineup, these new models are not only more compact but also more powerful, making them ideal for use in tight spaces.
Key Features of the New Lineup
Advanced Technology
These impact wrenches are equipped with three exciting new features that set them apart from other high – impact wrenches:
POWERSTATE Brushless Motor: This motor provides the extra strength needed to remove stubborn fasteners and compete with larger high – impact models.
REDLINK PLUS Intelligence: It ensures accurate and consistent performance with each use, protecting against overloads, overheating, and over – discharge.
M18 REDLITHIUM Battery Pack: This battery pack delivers enough power to last through an entire day’s work and offers a longer lifespan.
Drive Control Modes
There are four drive control modes that deliver a range of pre – set RPM and IPM levels to accommodate different applications. Mode 4 has an auto – shut – off feature that limits the torque applied to no more than 20 ft – lbs. for hand – tightening applications, preventing over – tightening. Additionally, bolt removal controls in this mode decrease RPM as the bolt loosens to stop the fastener from dropping.

Features
Friction Ring: All three models are equipped with a friction ring (hog ring) that allows for quick and easy socket changes and more control over output speed and power.
Compact Size: Shortened to 4.8” in length, these tools can fit into spaces where no other compact wrench has gone before.
Lighting: They have tri – LED lights to illuminate the workspace, drastically increasing visibility with fewer shadows.
Torque and Environment Resistance: These small wrenches deliver up to 250 ft – lbs. of torque and can work in environments up to 69 kV.

High Torque: This newer model delivers 650 ft – lbs. of nut – busting torque and weighs only 5.1 lbs., offering the best power – to – weight ratio in its class.
Kit Options: It comes as a single tool or in a kit with two different REDLITHIUM battery options.
Power and Versatility: It has enough power to remove even the most stubborn and inaccessible bolts or lug nuts. The small size and extreme power combination can complete 90% of fastening applications, limiting the need for larger high – impact wrenches.
