The HARTING Technology Group has introduced its latest innovation—the M12 INOX connector—a robust connectivity solution engineered for demanding outdoor and industrial applications where corrosion and wear pose significant challenges.
Built for Extreme Conditions
Constructed from high-grade V4A stainless steel, the new connector offers superior resistance to corrosion, outperforming standard M12 connectors in harsh environments. HARTING rigorously tested multiple materials, including V2A-grade stainless steel, before confirming that V4A-grade steel provides the necessary durability against salt spray, mist, and other corrosive elements.
Rigorous Compliance and Performance
The M12 INOX connector meets the IEC 60068-2-52 severity 4 standard, ensuring reliability under extreme conditions. It operates seamlessly in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C and withstands up to 500 mating cycles. With a rating of 4A and 250V (crimp termination), it is designed for long-term use in automation, robotics, and transportation sectors.
Versatile Connectivity Options
The connector supports Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) technology (HARAX termination) and is available in A, B, and D coding variants, making it adaptable to diverse industrial needs.
HARTING’s latest innovation reinforces its commitment to delivering high-performance, resilient connectivity solutions for the most challenging environments.
