Oben Electric has introduced a new battery safety plan for its customers, called Protect Eight/Eighty, which will be available starting May 1st.
This plan offers coverage for eight years or 80,000 km at a price of ₹9,999. Under the brand’s Oben Guard platform, the warranty ensures complete protection for battery performance, including maintenance, replacements, and all battery-related concerns.
Customers can be confident that the Rorr EZ’s top speed and acceleration will remain consistent throughout the warranty period. Additionally, the warranty is fully transferable. Oben’s LFP battery, which is developed and manufactured in-house, is designed to withstand the challenging conditions of Indian terrain and climate. The company claims its batteries can endure temperatures up to 50% higher than standard models, ensuring reliable performance even in extreme conditions.
