iRobot has introduced its latest innovation in home cleaning with the Roomba Max 705, designed for pet owners and busy households. This new vacuum delivers iRobot’s most powerful cleaning performance yet, featuring 180 times more power-lifting suction than previous models.
The Roomba Max 705 builds on iRobot’s recent wave of advancements, following the release of four new models in March, the first of which featured LiDAR navigation. The Max 705 takes it a step further with ClearView Pro LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI, offering 3D-mapping of your home and real-time object detection, enabling it to avoid obstacles such as pet bowls and charging cables.
Available starting May 11, 2025, the Roomba Max 705 Vac Robot + AutoEmpty Dock will be available for $899.99 in North America and for £600/€699 in select European markets. It will be sold through iRobot’s website and select online retailers.
Designed for near-effortless cleaning, the Roomba Max 705 features anti-tangle Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes, an Edge-Sweeping Brush, and Carpet Boost technology, which automatically increases suction power on carpets and rugs. Intelligent navigation allows it to glide around furniture and obstacles, ensuring efficient cleaning whether it’s day or night. Additionally, the AutoEmpty Dock lets the vacuum go up to 75 days without needing to be emptied, making it one of the top robot vacuums on the market.
Users can easily control the device with a simple press of a button, a tap on the Roomba Home App, or a voice command through a smart speaker.
