RedMagic has unveiled the DAO Mini 65W charger alongside its new 10S Pro gaming smartphone series in China. This compact GaN-based fast charger features two USB-C ports, supporting a combined 65W output—45W from one port and 20W from the other when both are in use.
The charger supports major protocols including QC 3.0, PD 3.0, Apple 2.4A, FCP, and SCP, ensuring wide compatibility across smartphones, tablets, and laptops. It boasts a 43% smaller footprint than a standard 70W charger, a foldable plug, and a cyberpunk design with a translucent side panel and carbon fiber-like texture.
Internally, the DAO Mini uses a GaN (gallium nitride) chip, offering higher efficiency and better heat management. Safety features include over-current, over-voltage, overheating, and overcharge protection.
Priced at CNY 119 (approx. $16.50 USD) in China, the charger is expected to roll out globally in tandem with the 10S Pro lineup. No specific international release date has been announced.
