Ecovacs has introduced its latest flagship robot vacuum, the X9 Pro Omni, which can both vacuum and mop floors. It also includes HomeKit support, allowing users to control the robot with Siri and the Home app.
The X9 Pro Omni is equipped with sensors that help it navigate obstacles such as pets, furniture, and scattered items. It uses AI to map the home in 3D, detecting walls and corners. Its mop and side brush move to clean hard-to-reach areas, ensuring a thorough clean along edges and corners.
One of the standout features of the X9 Pro Omni is its Ozmo Roller Mop, which self-cleans while mopping. This ensures that dirty water doesn’t spread across the floor. The robot has separate clean and dirty water tanks, offering an efficient and unique cleaning process. The mop also applies more downward pressure than traditional mops for a deeper clean. It automatically lifts when the robot encounters carpets, preventing water from damaging rugs. The mop also dries itself using hot air after cleaning.
For vacuuming, the X9 Pro Omni features Ecovacs’ “Blast” technology. With a 100W high-torque motor and optimized airflow, the vacuum offers better and quieter suction. The robot also includes a ZeroTangle brush that prevents pet and human hair from clogging the vacuum, reducing maintenance.
