Sharge has released its new Pixel 100 and Pixel 140 chargers worldwide. However, the first batch is designed only for US power sockets. These chargers were recently introduced in China, where they are called the Dot Matrix Screen Charger.
The Pixel chargers feature a Bauhaus-inspired design. On one side, there is a rotatable dot-matrix screen that shows real-time charging information. The screen’s brightness can be adjusted, and it includes an animation when turning on or off.
The Pixel 140 model offers three USB-C ports with wide spacing. Each port can deliver up to 140W of power. When two ports are used at the same time, the power splits as either 100W and 30W, or 67W and 67W. If all three ports are in use, the power is divided as 67W, 30W, and 30W or 45W, 45W, and 30W.
The Pixel 100 has three USB-C ports rated at 100W each, plus an additional 18W USB-A port. The power output varies depending on how many devices are connected.
Both chargers support fast-charging standards like PD 3.1, QC 4.0, and PPS. They are compact and have folding plugs for easy portability. The larger Pixel 140 measures 64 x 58 x 37.2 mm (2.5 x 2.3 x 1.5 inches) and weighs 255 grams (about 0.56 pounds). This lightweight design is possible thanks to Sharge’s fifth-generation GaN technology.
Currently, the Pixel chargers are available in the US with a 10% discount. The Pixel 100 costs $64.90, down from $75.90. The Pixel 140 is priced at $84.90, reduced from $99.90. In Europe, prices are £48.03/€57.25 for the Pixel 100 and £62.83/€74.89 for the Pixel 140.
A note on the product page says the first batch is only the US version. This suggests that versions for other regions, like Europe, might be released later.
