On June 16, Dyson introduced the DS60 Piston Animal, the most powerful cordless vacuum cleaner in its history, launching globally for the first time in Korea.
Powered by a Hyperdymium 900W digital motor, the DS60 delivers an impressive suction power of 315AW (air watts), designed to tackle various cleaning challenges with ease.
Key innovations include an All Floor Cones sense cleaner head that adapts suction power and brush speed automatically based on flooring type—whether carpets or hardwood—eliminating the need to switch cleaner heads. Its unique dual conical brush bars prevent long hair tangling by pushing hair outward directly into the Clean Compactor™ dust bin, which can hold three times more dust than previous models.
Asaph Ooi, Dyson’s cordless vacuum product development engineer, emphasized Dyson’s philosophy of solving overlooked cleaning problems with advanced technology. He said the DS60 combines powerful suction, intelligent brush design, and adaptable performance to deliver a thorough, hassle-free cleaning experience for busy modern lifestyles.
Additional features include LED lighting on the cleaner head to illuminate hidden dust and debris, ensuring even dark corners and crevices are cleaned thoroughly.
