The NSW Government is investing an additional $16.1 million to install 246 fast and ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers across the state.
These new chargers will create a rapid charging network. They can recharge EV batteries from 10% to 80% in less than 20 minutes. This means drivers can get back on the road much faster.

The funding supports the growing number of EV owners in households and businesses. It also helps NSW move closer to its legislated net zero emissions targets.

Private investments will add to this funding, bringing the total investment to $41.1 million. All new charging stations will run on renewable energy, making the network greener and more sustainable.
