Two men and one woman from North Carolina have been charged with stealing six lawnmowers from a farm supply store in Eureka, Missouri.
According to court documents, Devon Reid, 27, Roberts Knotts, 36, and Angel Williams, 29, allegedly stole lawn equipment worth $34,244 from Dicky Bubb Farm and Home, located at 100 Hilltop Village Center, on April 11.
Police say surveillance footage shows Reid and Knotts cutting the lawnmowers loose and removing them from the property between 2:40 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
The store manager contacted authorities after noticing the missing equipment and reviewing the security footage.
The stolen items were identified as zero-turn riding lawnmowers, a high-value type of mower popular for commercial landscaping.
