International Battery Metals (IBATF) will spotlight its cutting-edge lithium extraction technology at two major industry events in June 2025. The company will present at the Direct Lithium Extraction USA Conference in Houston on June 16–17, followed by the Fastmarkets Lithium Supply & Battery Raw Materials Conference in Las Vegas on June 23–26.
IBAT’s Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology is drawing attention for its high performance and environmental benefits. The system can recover up to 95% of lithium, achieve 99.9% purity, and recycle 99% of water—all without using chemical additives. This positions IBAT as a leader in sustainable lithium extraction at a time when demand is soaring due to electric vehicles and energy storage needs.
CEO Joe Mills will headline the Houston conference with a keynote on June 16 at 11:30 a.m. CT, highlighting IBAT’s status as the first company in North America to reach commercial-scale production of lithium chloride using a modular, chemical-free DLE process.
In Las Vegas, Mills will be joined by Chief Technology Officer Dr. John Burba. Together, they will speak about the scalability and future potential of IBAT’s technology in a fast-evolving market. Mills will present on “Commercial DLE in Action: Thriving Through Market Volatility,” while Dr. Burba will share insights on scaling DLE globally.
The Las Vegas event will feature panel discussions and presentations focused on IBAT’s operational successes and its environmentally responsible approach. These conferences will also provide IBAT with opportunities to engage with industry leaders and explore potential partnerships.
Through these appearances, IBAT reinforces its commitment to developing sustainable lithium solutions that meet both technical demands and environmental goals in the global energy transition.
