Indian energy company Exicom has introduced Harmony Direct 2.0, a next-generation DC fast charger powered by Harmony OS—the country’s first indigenously developed charger operating system.
The launch took place at an industry event in Gurugram, where company executives highlighted the new charger’s goal to boost infrastructure reliability, cut operational costs, and enhance the charging experience for both fleet operators and individual electric vehicle (EV) users.
“At the core of Harmony Direct 2.0 is Harmony OS, designed in India to automate interactions from the charger to the vehicle and the cloud,” Exicom said in a statement.
The system features AI-enabled diagnostics and remote management tools, which the company says will help minimize downtime and enable large-scale deployment of EV chargers across India.
