Samsung SDI is aiming to expand its global presence, including in Europe, with innovative products like high-performance energy storage systems (ESS) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices, which are critical for the artificial intelligence (AI) era.
The company announced on April 28 that it will participate in InterBattery Europe 2025, scheduled from May 7 to 9 at Messe Munich in Munich, Germany. InterBattery Europe is a major event within The smarter E Europe, the largest energy industry exhibition in Europe, with over 200 domestic and international companies expected to take part this year.
At the exhibition, Samsung SDI will showcase a range of next-generation battery products and cutting-edge technologies under the slogan “InCelligent Life, Always ON,” which reflects the idea of enhancing daily life through always-connected battery technology. The company will emphasize its ESS battery technology, designed to meet the growing demands of the AI era, with a focus on superior safety and convenience.
Among the highlights will be the unveiling of Samsung SDI’s new UPS battery product, “U8A1,” which is vital for providing power during outages in critical facilities like data centers.
